We have a Lancom L-54ab wireless access point here. It supports up to 8 virtual WLANs. The first is set up as a bridge to the factory on the other side of the street.
For testing purposes, I wanted to try and set up one of the other 7 virtual LANs to be a normal infrastructure access point.
I selected a virtual WLAN (2), turned it on, gave it WPA2 PSK with TKIP/AES and a password, but I can't access the network. The password is always rejected. Even if I set it up as an unprotected WLAN, it still shows as being secured! I've tried the password for the WLAN 2 and the password for WLAN 1 (the bridge), but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have experience with these Lancom access points and can give me a pointer as to where I am going wrong...

Under the physical WLAN settings, it was set to "Point to Point - Exclusive", which means it can only work as a bridge, even if you set up a normal access point in the virtual WLAN settings! I changed from Exclusive to On and it allows access!
Now to see if the users on the other side of the bridge still have access!
