See if you can guess who Megan Fox could be playing in the next Batman film. http://www.examiner.com/x-7821-San-Dieg ... atman-filmMind you, The Sun is cited as the point of origin, so large pinch of salt, folks.

She is no Michelle Pfeifffer...

I agree. She looks good but doesn't have much charisma at all.

Sorry Gav, she doesn't do anything for me... Charisma and personality count as much or more than pure looks, especially if I have to sit there and watch her antics for a couple of hours.

Megan Fox is hot. And I love the Batman story. But the two together? Not so sure. Though I still think she would be better to have in the film than that skanky-a** ho who married Tom Cruise.

What I was especially amazed at with Pfeifffer, apart from the obvious , was that the scene where she takes the heads off the mannequins was all her - you can see it on the DVD extras

Pfeiffer did Catwoman really well - I liked the broken mind aspects, and I’m wondering if pouring a load of PVC or latex over Fox is a good idea if she can’t add that kind of depth to the role.

Pfeiffer's Catwoman was great, but I look forward to The Fox taking it on.

I have to say I don't really get the hype. Fox is certainly attractive. But she's no more attractive than, well, a lot of the women waiting tables in Los Angeles, frankly. She's an actress. Actresses are supposed to be attractive. That's part of the skillset.
The thing is I don't she how she's so much more attractive than the rest of the troupe that currently have their names on the posters in big letters. Is she more attractive than say Charlize Theron or Scarlett Johansen or Jessica Biel? Not obviously. She's somewhat unusual looks wise in standard film starlet terms because they tend to be fresh faced and blond, whereas she's quite exotic and dark-skinned but beyond that, I honestly don't see what she's got that nobody else has. As for her playing catwoman.. well... all I can say is I haven't really seen any evidence she can actually act. Most of the stuff she (or her agent) seem to be picking isn't really anything that'd show any actual talent for the job at all. It's pretty much shlock. Looking at her career so far, there's precious little evidence she's anything other than a pretty face, frankly. Remember the last big 'sexiest woman in the world' - Angelina Jolie - had an Oscar nomination already by this point in her career. Looks to me like Fox has had an awful lot of good PR on her side but, TBH, she's done little if anything to actually earn the adulation.
There's an interesting comparison coming up if she does get the part. She'll be playing Catwoman and Johansen will be playing The Black Widow in the next iron Man movie. Similar genres, similar budgets, similar roles. We'll see who makes the better fist of it.
Jon

I'd just like everyone to remember that this is from the same folks who said that Eddie Murphy had been cast as The Riddler, and Shia LeBeouf was playing Robin!
