These may prove useful to some people, so I thought I'd post it - I personally haven't used a PS3 pad often enough to even know if they'd benefit me (I've big hands anyway) :?

If they're like the ones my friends have then they're a bit hit and miss.

They make it easier to grip/hook onto the pad however in return you have to hold your fingers higher up on the trigger which to me, felt less comfortable.
