Would you say you needed any psychological councilling? No matter how big your problem is, you can overcome it with help and the right attitude, and that doesn't mean being all happy and smiling, it means having a sense of self worth and purpose, even if you're in a miserable place in your life.

Glad you are on the mend and I hope it all works out for you in Oz. Emigrating to Germany was the best move I ever made...

I've always wanted to leave this country myself, just never really had the opportunity. Good luck with your move and remember that the internet is global...and that you should check around the loo for spiders before you sit down!

Aww Blue, sounds like you've really been through it. I'm glad to hear that you've come back (relatively) unscathed and that you have a plan for the future. Have an amazing time in Ozland, stay in touch (I know they've got internetz over there) and live every day to the fullest.
The best piece of advice I was ever given: Make sure that you are never running away from anything, 'cos if you're running away, you'll be running forever. Always be sure that you are running towards something better.
I have confidence that you're making the right choice for you, very best of luck.

Best of luck with it! Don't forget to go to the Down Under bar when you're in Brisbane.

Good luck with the move. One piece of advice though, make sure you deal with the issues that put you in hospital. A change of location won't sort them out for you on its own but it can certainly help you deal with them yourself. A different perspective on life can work wonders so long as you know the perspective you were looking at life from in the first place. As I say, good luck, I have several friends in Oz who love it out there.

I'd love to go to Oz but those super-sized creepy crawlies freak me out.
Good luck with your trip. Sometimes it takes a huge obstacle/breakdown/etc to make you readjust your views on life and start in a new direction.

I'll just echo what adidan and leeds_manc said.
Don't forget the guys back here while you are having a wonderful time down there. It just occurred to me that, as we approach winter, they are approaching summer down under. Enjoy !!
