They're all artists renditions, not actually pictures. (8+/

Mark

EDIT - Okay, so technically they are pictures.

Front end looks like a Porsche and rear end like a Lambo. Very imaginative!

In profile, it looks a lot like the original...

To be honest, I think I'd still prefer the original over this one.

It looks more like the new Ferrari 458 than either of them...

Well it is roughly 8% of the current price of an F1...

On a wider note, this is great for 2 reasons: firstly it's investment in a purely UK manufacturing base in the middle of a recession. Secondly, it's returning to the type of manufacturing the UK has always done best, high end and high spec. We are [LIFTED] at doing cheap in this country because everyone else can do cheaper.

Also, it's just up the road (literally!) from my work HQ in Woking, and it's in a similar industry to mine; aerospace parts. Here's hoping we could diversify into providing bits for the new cars :)

1. Get a temp job in Redruth for Company A
2. Work with guys on site from Company B
3. Guy from Company B leaves, and I apply for his job....and get it!

So now I work for an outer-london logistics company, but in Cornwall!!

I think it's brilliant. Well done McLaren, it's precisely what we need - something aspirational as a reminder that the bad times don't last forever. And it's gorgeous.

The article calls them photos and even goes so far as to say they stood next to the 'tub'. So... who's telling fibs?
