I do.. it ensures I dont lose my contacts etc but I still have to move all 22gig of music and videos back onto the device. I may be doing something incredibly stupid but Im not seeing it.

Regarding the search function of the iPhone, is it supposed to search through text messages?

Mark, it doesn't search SMS. If you go into Settings ==> General ==> Home ==> Search Results, you can choose what it can and cannot search. SMS is not an option.

I've found it handy for looking up emails from specific senders as I have 3 email accounts set up on it. Though there is that weird bug where it finds messages that have been long deleted.

Looks like the corrupted file theory is out of the window... The new build bricked itself last night! Server problems at work this morning mean that I haven't been able to get to the T-Punkt to get it looked at yet...

I love Boggle. Worthy of the cost. Boggle and Conquest are the two most used apps on my iphone. I just downloaded this game as I was looking for a 'simulator' type game. It's okay but not as fun as I thought it would be. Love this game. Thanks for mentioning it. I played it all the time when on nights. The frustrating problem I had was with screen sensitivity as I'd press to get a plane to use a specific gate and it'd use a different one instead! Nope.

OK, here's a good one. My brother and sister in Law are both in my iPhone contact list. They have different mobile numbers but they have a common landline number (obviously). Is there any way to choose which of the two contacts comes up when the landline number calls me? As it stands it's my sister in law because she's first on the list but it's usually my brother who calls me...

Is there a way to block calls that are not in the address book? I have the facility to do this on my existing phone, so if a call is made from a unrecognised number it directs it to voice mail and I never hear it ring. This is one feature that I really need on an iPhone.

Hopefully there will be a new iPhone out when my contract expires in April. Amnesia10: There is an app called iBlacklist which will do that but you have to jailbreak the iPhone to use it. You also need to register the app to use that particular feature.

They'll be charging a fortune for it. Nearly a year in to my contract. I go for the free upgrades, I'm not paying for any phones even the iPhone

Okay peeps, I'm not sure if this is an iPhone question or an iTunes question, but it's about getting contacts from Lotus Notes on a PC in to the iPhone.
You can export contacts in Notes to vCards. If you select multiple contacts it only seems to create one vCard, presumably containing all the selected contacts. How then does one go about getting those contacts to the iPhone? Does iTunes have a contact import for vCards and if so will it recognise that the one vCard has multiple contact entries and separate them out on import?
Am I doing this all wrong and there's a much easier way?
Mark
