Do you actually watch "American films" to know that they are "poop" or are you just making a sweeping generalisation based on prejudice?

Let's not forget that the guy that's compiled this list is only making a top 100 for him.
Loads of people are going to say "Yes!" to some and probably just as many are going to say "No!" or even possibly "WTF?!?", but this is his list, not any sort of definitive top 100 because, let's face it, that's been done to death and it's getting pretty boring to have the usual suspects in the top ten of these things all the time.

I posted this here because of the preference for much older films, some of which I've never heard of, more of which I'll not have seen.
I do hope the rest of the list isn't a letdown.

It's becoming quite clear that this guy has a thing for the "golden era" of Hollywood.

That's my lot from his selection. I may have seen the Robin Hood thing on TV when I was sick off school, I guess, many years ago.
The Deer Hunter's got a well deserved place, love that film.

In other news, myself and some friends had a Mighty Ducks Marathon last night. All 3 films back to back. The third is the weakest, imho.

That list is a bit more like it. I've seen at least a dozen of them, again a couple I would question, but the list certainly looks to be on a sounder footing than the first batch.

Don't recognise half of that lot.
