This is not the Random Photo Thread, Edd.

I'm clearly no photography guru, but I love what you've done with that. The panorama combined with the image processing leaves you feeling like you've climbed inside an old watercolour scene.

It works rather nicely, I think. I was wondering what the experience is if photos weren’t treated as just photos. I am planning on doing a few more in this vein. Have you tried it full screen? The bottom right corner will let you do this.

I daren't try it fullscreen at work, it took nearly 3 minutes to load the scene - A road collapsed, down near Ashbourne and has wiped out some cable, our net performance has been shocking for weeks.
Just tried it at home - very impressive.
I'd love to know what kind of kit you need to produce those panoramas. I'm pretty sure my little bridge camera isn't up to it, but I'm interested all the same.

HI, I’ve mentioned what I have elsewhere in this thread. I use:
• A tripod • A Nodal Ninja - this holds the camera so that it rotates around the nodal point of the lens • Canon EOS 40D and a Canon 10-22mm lens
Software: • PTGui to stitch the images (see the current MacUser for an article about this app) • Pano2VR which builds the Flash movie
The lens does the job, but I need to take 14+ shots per panorama. I’m pondering a fisheye lens which means I’d only need to take a minimum of 4 to get a full 360x180 view.
Oh - I’m forgetting - the Nodal Ninja will take my Leica D-Lux 4 - as long as your camera has a tripod mount, you should be fine. If the screw is offset from the lens centre, you’ll need to be sure that the nodal bracket can adjust for that too (NodalNinjas have an optional T-bracket for this).

HI, try this one then. It’s a dot screen/heavy line offering. Pretty impressive in full screen. Warning: this may cause shimmering. If you are photosensitive, then you may want to stay away. http://www.worldofpaul.com/panoramas/le ... -insa.html

I’m pretty pleased with it myself. Have you tried it in full screen mode?
