I'll keep my fingers crossed for your Rkiver. You want to hijack my good news thread for a general good news thread?!?! Sounds like a great idea!  The job is a normal admin role, taking on the maintenance of PCs and servers for 3 different sites. It is a complete Microsoft ecosystem (their old manufacturing system is UNIX, but has been migrated to NAVISION, part of Microsoft's Great Plains division). Not sure exactly what it involves yet, the interview covered the basics and it sounds very interesting. I start in August, at the moment (I have 3 months notice in my current job, but they want me to start earlier, if my current employer lets me go).

I hope it all works out for you D. I've been jobless now for a month but I'm still looking. It may be a case of a change in my career though.

We've just had another round of job losses - 60-odd. Thankfully I've managed to dodge the bullet again. This is the third time in the past 11 years thev've had a cull.
