Lauren Shuler Donner on Future X-Men Movies

http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/09/21/lau ... en-movies/

At this point I wouldn't really care if they ever made another live action X-men movie of any description - even the Singer ones aren't that essential in my view, and that's probably as good as they're ever gonna get

There's probably too many characters in them for you to be truly drawn in I spose :(

Exactly, and particularly noticeable in the third one. Just remembered that I think the worst superhero film I've seen may well be Spawn which tends to be very overlooked. Anybody else seen it? Or was Daredevil the worst?

It was either Wall Street or Evil Dead 2 which was the first time I felt like demanding my money back at the box office :)

I've got Spawn, keep meaning to dig it out to see if it's as bad as I remember it being. It's getting redone at some point, and check out the HBO cartoon, it's quite well done.

One of the worst must be Steel (One of Superman's friends in case you're wondering) starring Shaq O'Neil IIRC...

Or Howard The Duck? ;)

And I'm guessing it was Wall Street that made you want your money back - ED2's a classic, you just can't admit it ;)

Awful, but it did have Lea Thompson in it which made the film almost bearable.

The first Evil Dead is a classic and one of my favourite 80's horror films along with Re-Animator. Evil Dead 2 is nowhere near as good apart from the cool scene where Ash's hair turns white. Too much stupid comedy. The third isn't up to much either.

She was in Some Kind of Wonderful, the brilliant John Hughes film and one of my all time favourites.

And, of course, in the Back To The Future trilogy!

I still found Lea Thompson hot in that film despite everything

I like the comedy in the ED films - Army Of Darkness still makes me laugh
