That was the point though. You may not have read it but your eyes probably skipped across it. Derren obviously knew what the picture was. He took her Stonehenge and they had a ring light in her eyes when she was "projecting" the image to the nation. Behind the easel were lots of different images on a big banner, each one in a set of concentric circles. From the stand point looking at the easel you could also see the bottom of a huge bell and a bike suspended up and to the left. Lots of subliminal images that you wouldn't notice.

I definitely never saw it because I only read the first couple of pages of the paper today It shall certainly be interesting watching the show again to spot all of the subliminal images, such as the ones you have mentioned. That's tomorrow morning sorted! Peter.

Ah... erm... oh. Well I never saw the advert because I didn't see a newspaper today. Probably why I drew a boat. Although there was a sun in my picture which is a circle! LOL

Something told me to ignore Derren Brown's show.

I drew three interlocking squares! Then again, I also drew a rabbit and a funny shape, like a block P. I wonder if the fact that I noticed them was the reason I didn't draw anything resembling a circle? As for that mirroring body language thing, I'm sure he's done that in a previous show.

Quite enjoyed that tonight, one element of his routine (convince someone to draw the picture he wants them to) spun out into a show. I was thinking of a chess board though.

It’s all set up. Of course he knew what she had drawn. What was interesting is how he attempted to influence the audience enough to get a 30% hit rate.
If Derren Brown can do this for entertainment, imagine what he could do for Those In Power.

If I had drawn anything, I would have drawn a dog first.
But then again consider how many circles are in everyday life. If he's going to say "draw as many things as you possibly can!" then obviously there's going to be a good chance that many people will draw something round.
My second drawing would have been a speaker cone, which I guess is concentric circles.
But I didn't draw anything - I told my housemate what I would've drawn, told him to text me what happens and then promptly went to bed.

Erm...
Well that was an anti climax to the series.

+1. Though he was very close. In a way, the fact that he screwed up does lead to some plausibility (that it's all real, not staged).

That's exactly why they wrote it into the script...

Was the casino even real? I’m not that sure that it was.

My thoughts exactly. If Derren gets 5/5 it looks fixed. If he gets 4/5, it looks plausible. Any less and he looks crap. Anyway, I thought the entire guessing thing (esp with the ball) was a load of crap.

Sister's just got me two tickets to Enigma, at the local theatre in February as an early Xmas present. I'm quite looking forward to this.
