I paid about £10 for it on my PC so £34.99 for a two year old game is pricey. It is a great game though.

Odd when you consider the original OpenGL port was for a PPC powered PS3.

Hmm.

I wonder if the modding teams will try and make a PPC port. Can't be that hard, considering they could use bits of the PS3 version. :/

Although a 8 core PPC Mac (cell CPU thing) would be awesome. :D

It's all a bit academic - if you can afford a mac with a powerful enough GPU, you can afford £35 for a 2 year old game!

This thread kind of reinforces my thoughts on getting my first Mac when I stated "will keep the PC for gaming...."

I'd play it on my PS3 if I was interested.

Did I read that right? Tombolt and pcernie havent played Bioshock? Just get it NOW.

Ok, its got its downsides but I'm not going to go into them, better to read the reviews. But as a gaming 'experience' its top drawer. The emersive world the game puts you in is spot on and the story driven gameplay is great with a little twist at the end you wont see coming (unless someone told you). And what will you do with the little sisters, harvest or save them? I cant wait for number 2.

I'm not into PC gaming that much and only got a current-gen system recently, so if I like the demo I'll buy it for the PS3 :)

Sounds good, might get it. Trouble is I've got a load of games I've given up on at the moment. I lack the perseverance I had as a kid. Rather than spending the best part of a day overcoming an end of level boss, I tend to give up if I can't get it within a couple of tries nowadays.
