Did I read that right? Tombolt and pcernie havent played Bioshock? Just get it NOW.

Sounds good, might get it. Trouble is I've got a load of games I've given up on at the moment. I lack the perseverance I had as a kid. Rather than spending the best part of a day overcoming an end of level boss, I tend to give up if I can't get it within a couple of tries nowadays.

+1, and with the PS3 these days at least, I find it hard to remember the barrage of controller instructions thrown at you during frantic moments in-game - are we getting old, or am I just out of practice these days?

Tbh the game is really easy (one of its downsides) unless you put it on hard. Just stick it on easy and enjoy Rapture!

I've got that exact problem at the moment. Come back to a game after a couple of months and can't remember any of the controls. Personally, I suspect I'm not into gaming as much as I used to be.

My favourite used to be playing games with mates taking a turn every time someone died and getting through games that way. Trouble is, since most of them and I are married it just doesn't happen any more. When I was a student the playstation just seemed to be on all the time. Someone would come back from lectures and someone just leaving would hand them the controller.
