I can only echo what others have said here Mike.

All the very best with your search for a new job and in the meantime I hope the sun shines so you can make the most of your enforced time at home.

Yup - concur with all the sentiments of others Mike. Good to hear you're remaining positive but don't stay away too long :)

Thanks for all the kind words peeps, appreciate it

Cheers for the advice on bills as well, thats exactly what I'm going to do. I've been thinking for a while as well of doing distance learning for Network security, now I can do it full time and have applied to start a degree in September at Northumbia Uni, with teacher training at the end. Watch out, Mike the IT Teacher will give ya all detention!

saspro - just add em to this account I've had to change email etc :P Thanks mate :)

Mike

Crappy news Mike but glad to hear you have a good attitude about it and are already planning your degree course.

Good luck with that and be sure to pop around on here still. :D

Think I'll probably end up being an admin here given the time I've got to spend in the next few months :P

Nope you'll need it for brewing your own booze.

Hi Guys,

This will be my last post as CyberpowerUK. Unfortunately in the current economic environement cutbacks have to be made to keep compaines soluble, and Cyberpower is no different.

The management have had to make one of the hardest descisions possible and I along with some other staff have been made redundent for cost reasons.

I hold no grudges whatsoever and have thoroughally enjoyed my time here at Cyberpower. I'll still be here on the forums under a new name (probably bangingtechno) from time to time.

Nice meeting you all :)

Mike

Sorry to hear that Mike, I hope you stick around this and the bit-tech forums as we all value your options and help when dealing with PC hardware, software issues and your general point of view.

Keep strange mate and I hope you find alternative employment soon; you will be a good asset to someone out there for sure.

Richie

Oh my God.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Mike. Still, good luck and make the best of your situation.
