I don't actually care what party she's part of but I do have to ask why someone with such an extensive history of cocking things up as she has is still in a job. Seriously, how is she still a minister?

In fact, I'm pretty certain that almost no other Country on this planet give a [LIFTED] what the British government say.

Worryingly she doesn't have one job she has five:

1. Lord Privy Seal
2. Leader of the House of Commons
3. Deputy Leader of Labour party
4. Chairmanship of the Labour Party
5. Minister for Women

That's five too many.

I would have said that it can also be exploitation of men by women. If Harriet Harmon really wanted to help women she should abolish laws which criminalise women who are prostitutes. Release all of them immediately and stop fining them. Secondly some women are involved in prostitution to feed a drug habit. I know of one girl who died from an overdose in a flat that she worked in. Her boyfriend/pimp used her to fund his drug habit. So make drug treatment much more accessible. There was a 9 month waiting list for drug rehab in Brighton some time ago. I do not know if it has improved.

Many others are doing it for the money only. If a woman has little education then it offers her a easy way to make money quickly. That does not make them all uneducated. Many students do it to fund their way through university. The end of maintenance grants and the addition of tuition fees increase the likelihood of it happening. If you are a student you could make more in a night being a prostitute than a month in a restaurant or bar on minimum wage. It makes practical sense as well if you are exhausted from your part time job if it affects your studies.

If she really wants to help women, give them rights stop making them criminals.
