So they are going to be sending people to claimants houses, forcing them to prove they are still dying from cancer/ALS/Motor neurones/MS etc...
My mother has had a few of these visits already, yet they still come around, as if they've magically found a cure or something.

Nice.
That cameron is a complete sh**.

Really dumb timing too. Why announce this at a time when a lot of perfectly healthy people are losing their jobs, now they want to flood the job market with disabled people, people who are ill and those who are unlikely to be punctual through no fault of their own.

Hm, so when times get tough they decide that incapacitated doesn't mean that you can't work and claiming should be harder.

My dad had to go through the claiming procedure, dying of cancer doesn't mean that the claim is any easier.

Now the Tories are saying that retirement age should go up to 66. For men. Women are only just now still on an incremental increase in retirement age to meet that of men and the Tories have said that their retirement age will be under review.

That's not because of any moral or commonsensical reason but purely political as it would mean that if you're a woman and vote Tory you are in fact voting to retire 3 years later, from the current 63. That may just hurt their vote so they don't want to commit.

They are a shambles. Pick the pockets of the poor and incapacitated and avoid having any answers to questions that may lose them votes.

After the mess Labour has got themselves into you really thought the Tories would have learned but it seems the Party has only had cosmetic surgery, the aging shriveled corpse of the Party hasn't changed .

This is what I don't understand - why do people still vote for either of them?

People vote Tory because the BNP is just too radical for them.

IMO because people know they ought to vote but refuse to do anything to better understand the parties' policies. If they did the Tories would never be in Government.

I doubt any of the big three parties would be in government then ;)

And does that start AFTER they make an extra half a million unemployed? ;)
