I've been using Ad-aware for about 2 years now and it used to be great but about 6 months ago it stopped working on all of my PC's after a couple or reinstalls it always stops working after a few weeks. What do you use?

Thanks,

Hobgob.

Spybot Search and Destroy as a cleaner and realtime monitor

I also use Spyware Blaster as that stops a lot of things being installed in the first place.

I use advance system care/IOBit security 360 which has a host of other useful options and software attached.

Aparently MS' new freebie "Security essentials" is pretty good. I've installed it on my brother-in-law's PC and it does realtime scanning without making it feel sluggish & bloated.

I usually try malwarebytes first on any dodgy computers I have to look at - followed by Spybot Search & Destroy.
