Who are / were Yano?
Anyway, how about designing a board game to help children learn? A basic maths game, grammar and punctuation, that sort of thing. Could be simple and has a lot of potential.
Alternatively, where are you based? Is it picturesque or historic? When I was living in Munich, there was an American, Mike, who set up a bike tours company, You get a tour guide who knows the area and takes people on a gentle cycle ride around Munich, stopping every couple of hundred metres to explain what you are seeing, stopping for lunch in one of the Bräuhäuse (breweries), you could chose local restaurants etc. You might make a couple of quid for bringing large parties...
Obviously you need to be in a touristy area for that to work.

aye, the cycle tour thing is a good idea, i came up with it in the meeting today, but the rest of the group wasnt too keen, i live in the midlands so theres plenty around,
thing is the rest of the group dont see the point in anything cycling related, its mainly just me that is
the board game idea, i doubt were creative enough to think of one, and its a very hard market to get into

I remember doing something like this. It was called Young Enterprise or some similar crap. We made money by selling sweets that we had purchased in bulk.
Others have done face painting as well as the aforementioned car wash and T-shirt selling.
Part of the key is location. We did our selling in the middle of the town centre and made it cheap (can't remember whether it was £1 or £2 for a bag of sweets).

Jeepers guys! So the dude can't SPAG to save his life. Does that make him unworthy of help? Bubbles, are you posting from a phone or not? CC (and me and a few others) would like you to use capitals for pronouns such as I and nouns such as Midlands. Also, capital letters at the beginning of each sentence, as that is in fact the correct way to write in English. He would also appreciate a full stop at the end of sentences and an apostrophe between "isn" and "t". That might ingratiate you to the masses a little. As for your business, don't worry about being original, worry about being the best. A hand car wash (if done well) will make stacks of cash, providing your price point is right. The same thing goes for tons of ideas. Think carefully about your surroundings. What's your target market and how much are they willing to pay for a given product or service. Also, what do you and your team do well already, that could quickly be turned into a business (think hobbies etc.). Or PM Sas, sounds intriguing

@ bubbles: Letter, (or email) writing is going to be a part of your business, and if you can't get it right whilst asking us, (in an informal forum) for help in making your millions, why would potential investors / bank managers, etc take you seriously? That's some good advice for you... use it wisely
