Coke for me, though I do quite like Virgin Cola, (which I haven't had for ages, and am not sure is even sold any more)

Pie.
I hate the taste of cola, so I avoid both Coke and Pepsi (and all the cheap knock-offs) like a bad smell.

I voted Coke.
With my pie, I really prefer a large mug of tea.
I absolutely can't stand diet Pepsi. However, Pepsi Max is perfectly acceptable. If neither Pepsi Max nor "The real thing" are available, then I'll drink water. In fact, I'd usually choose water if I wanted a cold drink and that was an option.
Of course they may well have changed the recipe, but the last time I had Pepsi it contained Saccharin and I fair spat the foul stuff out. I can't drink the "full fat" option because all that sugar gives me the sh!ts; same goes for fruit juice. I like a small glass of OJ for breakfast, but fruit juice is basically just a refined sugar drink and should not be mistaken for "healthy". It may be less toxic than Cola, but that doesn't make it a good idea to drink it by the pint. Same goes for milk and most other food stuffs - everything in moderation.

I've been leaning more towards the Zero/Max side of things recently but basically whatever is cheapest between the two big brands for putting in my Bacardi I really don't like any of the store brands though. Al

It is a mystery to me how anyone can drink the stuff. It tastes o.k. with rum but on it's own it sets my teeth on edge.

Coke. But if I can't get coke, I do ecstasy. Although Coke is the number one carbonated drink in the world, Pepsi is second, or so I believe. If this is the case, I have wondered recently what the impact of retail outlets is- In other words, if a shop, bar, machine or fast food joint only serves one or the other, that is going to have an impact on sales. If you had the choice in all venues, then I wonder how things would pan out. I don't think for one second that Pepsi would win, more I think that Coke would pull further ahead. Philistine!!

If you are a Coke/Pepsi person, do you go the "whole hog"?
E.g.
Coke, Fanta, Sprite, Bonaqua, Lift, Mezzo Mix
or
Pepsi, Mirinda, 7Up, SchwippSchwapp etc.
Interestingly KFC in the USA is supposed to be part of Pepsi, but my local in Germany switched to Coca Cola recently!

Pepsi, 7up, Fanta and Sprite, so I guess 'no' answers your question. Mark

Just a few salient points... My mum always says 'it's all the same' if I complain I can't get Coke and she suggests Pepsi - I always think 'that'll be news to Coke' I would occasionally drink Fanta, Lilt etc (even tap water!), but usually Coke Coke seems to taste different depending on it's country of origin - I found the French Coke to be really sweet and sugary compared to the good old Lambeg stuff over here , the German Coke seems to fall apart as you're drinking it , the Middle Eastern stuff seems really gassy, and the stuff from Uxbridge seems to have more water in it than whatever the blend is that makes Coke Coke's at it's best when cold and served in bottles in a bar I started drinking it at three, somehow still have my own teeth, and am pretty much an addict. Knowing all this, my idiotic family still give my Coke to my three year old nephew Nothing seems to make you put on weight as quickly as Coke
