No, this is not a bit of self-promotion on my part, but rather another company that I discovered today who make some of the most stunning PCs I have ever seen, far nicer than anything that got into the Dream PC review in Custom PC (I suspect they are US based): http://www.murderbox.com/home.html

He's a user over at Bit-Tech. I remember reading his build log for that PC

Stunning.
I used the same case in my new PC build but it is nowhere near as beautifully built as theirs.

The cable management is fantastic.
The PC looks like a work of art.

I have to admit, I'm not seeing anything to mark it out as anything special, but then I'm not as exposed as you guys are to custom builds. Where in particular should I be looking? To my uneducated eyes, it looks a lot like any other pricey custom job.

I've never seen a PC that looks so neat inside. It may just be that I'm not looking at the right websites though. The cable management ... err ... what cables? You almost miss them

Compare it to some home builds people do, power cables running everywhere, it just looks a mess. These on the other hand, are not, they're painstakingly built, the colours they use....well, black goes with everything, but you get my drift. They are pricey custom jobs. Don't look for something in particular, just look at the PC's as a whole. Another good place to look at some of the cleanest PC's you can find is here.

Per se, there's nothing profound about the build in terms of radical ideas. It's just really well executed. In particular the level of precision, neatness of cabling and frankly obsessive attention to detail. If a Dell is a Vauxhall Corsa, this is genuinely on a par with a Rolls Royce.

Yes, I think the fact they rebraid all of them helps Also, the water cooling one putting the fillport on the back is a clever idea as then it's out of side and you can tip the case forwards to fill still!

Cool. I can think of at least one mainstream manufacturer you can buy on the high street that also does a good job of shipping boxes with very tidy interiors. I'll name no names, you probably already know who I'm talking about. I do think the pity about WC stuff is that it can't help but add to the clutter in the case. Personally, I'd rather have a cleaner air cooled system than one with tubing all over the shop. Their cable management is far better than some, but again, I can think of a manufacturer who's machines generally appear pretty tidy and cable free anyway. So with that in mind, I think they can do a little better. Ultimately, they'll need to start installing their own cable runs from the PSU rather than using the stock lengths, I'd imagine, on a build-by-build basis depending on the components used, if they really want to get silly about it. But yes, the systems do appear well finished. (FWIW, if you ever get the chance, take a look at the stuff Rolls didn't expect you to see, like the back of the door cards - frankly disappointing!)
