Irritating iTunes Podcast behaviour

So, I receive the Dilbert video podcast.
When I play it it always goes to the full size of the iTunes window. Previously it would remember that I wanted it to play at 1x scale (not fit to window).
Is there any way to get this behaviour back? Or is it just this video podcast that does it?
Running iTunes 9.0.1 on 10.5.8.

It will usually play at the size of the previous podcast. If you played it at 2x size or fill window, the next one will also use that setting...
I use a separate window and generally have to reset the size between Cranky Geeks (iPod sized resolution) and TWiST (SD sized).

It never remembers what I previously played it at. I always have to change it to 1x size when it starts playing.
