The old Meeting Place forum feels like a derelict shed where tramps have pissed on the wall and covered it in graffiti.
Can someone just torch the place and build a car park over it now?

Some of us are still randomly posting swear words and talking rubbish......So, just like before then  I think it shuts down at 17:00-ish tonight so it won't be long before the foundations of the car park are being set.  _________________The Official "Saucy Minx"  This above all: To Thine Own Self Be True "Red sky at night, Shepherds Delight"..Which is a bit like Shepherds Pie, but with whipped topping instead of mashed potato.

Aye, it's amazing how quickly it's gone downhill, isn't it? Just think, 18 hours or so ago, it was normal and thriving (in its own quirky kind of way). Now you're exactly right, it just seems kind of abandoned. Still, six more hours and it goes down. I wonder if they'll bother to tidy up the threads before they restore it?

It just goes to show how restrained we've all been over the years. As soon as we find out it's all over, we start behaving like big kids. I mean, swearing for the sake of [LIFTED] swearing. I notice the vultures are circling. There's been mods viewing the forums that I've never seen online before, and a site admin (jei27) who I never heard of before!  I wonder if we'll get an early lock?

I don't have the detail, but it's posts from the swearing thread, last post of the forum and the Register with the new meeting Place threads at the least.
