So, do we think Brawn will go out all guns blazing in Abu Dhabi and try to finish the season with both drivers on the podium? Or will they just relax now they don't have to work at it any more?

I don't think they will sit back, I think they'd like to get Rubens ahead of Vettel and take the second spot in the championship. It wouldn't surprise me to see Button playing rear guard for him if they get the chance.

What a great season though.

Jenson's drive in Interlagos really showed his determination, especially with everyone expecting him to tiptoe around the track and try to stay out of trouble.

Nakajima has every right to punch Kobayashi tbh but I hope he gets a seat in F1 next year. He looks like he could be good to watch.

Well done Jenson! Must be an amazing feeling. And some of those early overtaking moves were cracking.

Unlucky for Rubens though. It would have gone down to the last race had he not got that puncture. In that case I could see him grabbing the title judging by recent performaces of the two team mates.

The point before the puncture JB was still on for the championship, Ruben was in third (6 points) and JB was in sixth (3 points) so JB would still have been 11 points clear at the end of the race. In fact he could have finish 7th with Ruben in 3rd as he has more race wins.

I saw some numbers on the screen suggesting the point gap wasnt enough and it would go down to the last race. I'm guessing then that this was before Hamilton went past Rubens. My bad.

It was probably before the last pit stops when Ruben still had the possibility of a 2nd place if he could pump out some qualifying laps. Kubica was just too quick on the day, being stuck out of phase between the fast paced Vettel and Hamilton for most of the second period just finished Ruben off I think.

Rubens undoing was not opening up a 4 - 5 second lead on Webber before he got to the end of his first pit stop window, he pitted on his last lap giving his team no control on where he came out....
