So, not content with there being a greggs on every corner, they're going to shoehorn them into the gaps. Really, they're worse than Starbucks.
I've been to remote villages in the depths of Wales that have more than one greggs.

On the other side, Quelle announced they are bankrupt and from the 1st November there will be another 6,000 people jobless! Still, that one has been on the cards for over a year, the government here sprung in and gave them a liveline, but it wasn't enough.

I live in a village with a baker already we do not need a second. Certainly in areas not covered by a baker that would be fine.

I would like a Greggs (or Braggs as I remember and occasionally still call them) near me. There's a local bakery close to where I live. Years ago, it was a family run business and it was fantastic. Used to love the smell when I walked past it on the way home. For a while it shut down and then was taken over by someone else. It's crap. Even Greggs would be better.
Only other thing I wanna mention is the price. Used to be able to buy a pizza bread or a pasty for around 35p. Now the price is more than double!

Yes inflation is a pain. Wheat prices doubled last year as a result of the banks speculating on all commodities.
