I'd suggest eBay considering the price of them

Oh, and go to the Lego site and sign up for their catalogue - it's like looking through the Argos book when you were a kid

I was just thinking, more film and TV-based Lego could be brilliant... The Alien series, Transformers, Red Dwarf... Any others? :D

I've never owned Lego, I've always thought it was a bit [LIFTED].

Once you literally start to see a construction taking shape, it can actually be hard to stop

You have never lived! You can make practically anything if you have the imagination.

My God man!! The amount of hours I 'wasted' building things with Lego!! Some SERIOUS fun to be had with it!

Now, go forth and buy Lego!!

I may be open to the suggestion of Lego in the future, however I always preferred Meccano.

Screw Meccano. It's nuts!

Actually, I was rather fond of it but it was more expensive and less versatile. Even in 1974 it seemed kinda old fashioned, but probably appeals to "proper" greasy hardware engineers. I ended up mostly doing software

Well look at the Technics range then. It is more like Meccano than anything else Lego do.

I've been looking forward to that one, though I'm a bit sad about the eventual outcome, unless things have changed :?
