I think they should include personalities for the users, at least humility, I accept they are exceptional devices (although pointlessly expensive) but why does every iphone user insist on parading around with it in their hand.

Because they have doubts that it's actually worth what they're paying for it and are trying to get the most out of it?

Reading the quotation, doesn't he actually want a projector the iPhone can dock to???
ie. A Dock -> VGA/DVI/HDMI accessory cable with necessary OS update. The latest iPod touch has a beefed up graphics chipset, non?

I want a proper light sabre in the iPhone. Great for dealing with those nasty bar brawls.

So when are you going to see Elton John?

Such a dock would probably be a third party device. Though I would have thought a better option, was something like a dock with a LCD screen that can play the iPhones video content. Now that would be a much better option. Unless the content was HD if you projected it it would be very pixelated when you blew it up on to a wall.

At present you can't output screen content via the Dock, though. That's what I'm suggesting would be Apple's change, rather than it being a hardware level "let's plonk a physical projector into this tiny wee case" as seems to be implied at times.
