I swear it’s getting worse. I]ll leave this post unedited so you loty can see what I usually have to go back and edit. I think I‘m just not fast enough off some keys, and too quick off others. At times I have been known to type workds backwards or even sideways.

Me too, but ever since you told me to stop commenting I haven't been bothered to mention it. Starting a thread on it like this is just asking for trouble though. *shrug* Mark

At least I’ll know where not to look. The burning question is - what can I do about it?

Type slower? Be a better proofer? Stop posting and get on with work? Just a few suggestions. (8+) Mark

I find my typing can be affected by using different keyboards. I'm normally bang-on on the Macbook because that's the one I use most often, however coming back to use the PC keyboard can throw me off - it noy only feels different but you need to press the keys down further and I find the spacing is slightly different too.

I usualy have to go back over things, I seem to be able to manually correct myself quite well though. My biggedt problym is up arounf the top left, top tiht anf the left side og the keyboard.
Now that was truely appauling... Though the typos on the above line show just how bad my spelling actually is...

Does anyone else find it mildly amusing that the worst spellers among us tend to be those who work with code?

Mildly amusing? Yes, I do. Is it also ironic? Apparently I have a problem with the definition of irony.

You can do some terrible things with poor typing on the command line when you've upped your permissions, having complete control of the system and commands don't say "are you sure?"

I know the feeling. These days I nearly always type the as teh, then have to correct it. I never used to do that.
