Sorry, yes. They were people. But I was also referencing a book in how I posted. I am so cunning.

Well, what is it?
Yes! I wanna know too. Perhaps then you can set mine for me as well. Especially being as, in the lull, my thinking capacity drops through the floor.
I want to set up a little gallery somewhere so I can showcase my photography.
Space would also be made available for the work of some of you lot to. (8+)

I got the literary reference but I couldn't (and still can't) place it.

Wasn't Heather talking about setting up a company?

Personally I think the galleries created in mac.com are great.

I mean a proper bricks 'n' mortar shop sort of gallery.

I'm sure I've read that at some point.

Galaxy Caramel is amazing, but the 135g bar gets messy REALLY quickly - I'm sat here like a 2 year old that's been handed his first chocolate bar

So true.

I'm currently getting very cross with Demon Internet. Since BT has been trying to roll out faster broadband, my ADSL has been sort of keeping pace. However, the last round of speed hikes have thrown what was a rock steady 4mbps connection into a complete loop. Currently, I'm told we're anything up to 16meg. My router reports a connection at around 11meg.

So why, for the love of Bob, is my connection slower than dialup? I've got a 13MB podcast, currently downloading with an estimated finish time of about an hour. My email is retarded, and any web sites with images simply fail to load at all.

I spent almost 20 minutes on hold to tech support. I lost my temper with a text chat earlier, and now Nita won't speak to me. I've left a very cross message on someone's voicemail at Cable & Wireless up in Glasgow, too.

I fear this is the tipping point. I know it's been asked before, but I'm too ticked off to search properly, so I'll start a new thread about who's the best broadband supplier out there right now. I'm afraid my decade long relationship with Demon is about dead and buried.

I left Demon a few months ago, as they simply couldn't/wouldn't compete financially, (and quite snotty with me when I phoned them) but for the love of that good and holy in the world DO NOT go to Talk Talk. They are rubbish.

Hmm. The thot plickens...

Demon Customer Service Text Chat wrote:
CustomerService04: Having checked the records, I can confirm the service status is all fine from the Customer Service end.
CustomerService04: Its a bit of suprise as the speeds on the line is 11kbps.
CustomerService04: That's something which the technical department does. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.
CustomerService04: I have checked this with a manager from the technical department and they confirm that its not only you, who have been affected by slow speeds but the demon customer base.
CustomerService04: We have now escalated the issue to our network engineers and we are awaiting for an update for this to be resolved.
CustomerService04: Its a slow speed issue. I will not be able to guarantee the time when it will be fixed. It could be fixed in the next couple of hours or probably by the end of working hours today.

I've given them 48 hours to resolve it to my satisfaction.
