Answer? They didn't. Just as nobody ever stops to think when they say unbelievers are going to hell...even though they know if will offend. All religions deliberately offend anyone else who is not of that religion, this is not news. Well, it's news to the Xtians who obviously feel as though they have never been offended before. They should get over it, this is a secular society and it's going to happen a lot more as the world becomes a smaller place. [edit]Oh, and the "my son is not a pervert" quote just goes to show how these religious morons never actually bother to look up what a transsexual is. If it's not a "normal" heterosexual person, they're obviously perverted/evil/deviant/wrong....pick an adjective[/edit]

I'm not offended. I'm amused I think it was a good, creative idea I also am pleased to live in a country where people are allowed to blaspheme and be heretical. +1 Well said, sir.

I mis-read that as being protestants... will I burn in hell?

When I heard about this the first thing that sprung to my mind was
"Down with this sort of thing! Careful now."

Which reminds me I must have a look around for the Father Ted DVD box set. That sounds like a good Xmas present to myself, (though I'm sure I said that last year as well...) Where was that thread about growing old again?

That only works on people who subscribe to that way of thinking in the first place. It’s good fun pointing this out.

Indeed. I just find it sad and infuriating that a small minority (ironically called The Moral Majority) have spoilt it for the rest of us.
