That's not really the issue, at least not for me. It's how the news broke. Lack of available details as well as a lack of any credible source. Even the band members don't know what's going on. For the pair formerly known as the Toxic Twins, it's just a really sad thing to hear, especially if you've been a long time fan of the band. Mark

Put me in the 'what, he's still alive?' camp. I find the whole thing about aged rockers carrying on vaguely dispiriting. Rock music is, always has been and always should be the preserve of the young. I don't think your disenfranchised teen can really relate to a 60 year old whose face looks like a raisin and whose only major worry is which of his investment portfolios is going to bring a better quarterly return to pay into his grand children's trust fund.
'Hope I die before I get old?'
get off Grandad and let someone who has something new to say have a go.

Sorry but that's utter bollox! Look at The Stones or Tina Turner. They still put on a fantastic show that puts the 20 year olds to shame. As long as they're willing and the fans are enjoying it let them rock on. If you haven't seen it watch the Stones film 'Shine a Light' and you'll see what I mean.

I'm all for them carrying on rocking - some of the best albums I've bought recently have been 'comebacks' of a kind - Def Leppard, Lynyrd Skynrd, Ian Hunter etc I also agree on Shine A Light

Songs From The Sparkle Lounge - there's a bit too much of the post-9/11 thing going on in a few of the lyrics, but the majority of the album's brill
