Played it today and it's pretty good fun

Cell shading works, it looks less drab than Fallout 3

Bazillions of guns, literally as they are procedurally generated. It's kindof like Hellgate London in that respect (Don't know if there are many augmentations as I only played a few hours)

Missions seem ok, levelling up is fairly quick to start with which is good, the options of character seem fairly good, soldier (balanced), sniper (long range), Brick (close combat + explosives) and the siren (ninja style elemental attacks)

Looking forward to doing co-op, wonder if the humour works multiplayer as there is the odd joke every so often.

Ooh!

I've been looking for a new PC game that's a bit different.

Looks like I've found it :D

I'll buy it this weekend and join you online!

Going to have to get used to the style of graphics, but so far, I've really enjoyed it!!

It's something different, but I like it. Yet to take it online yet, I'll give that a try tomorrow.

Bit Tech seem to think its great. But their standard of reviewing is at best, questionable.

I'm going to pick Borderlands up for the Xbox once I've finished MW2, Forza3 and Batman. It might be cheaper by then too!

I just realised that this is the first PC game I can't run with everything maxed out!! (Aside from Crysis), time to start OCing things I think...

Bought it yesterday as an alternative to "the lazy console port that shall not be named" and it's awesome. I love the cell shading, I love the responsiveness, I love the slightly mad-max feel to it and that it doesn't seem to take itself too seriously. Great stuff. It will be nice to have the broadband reconnected now so that I can try co-op. Most of all I love how it doesn't feel like they've taken an earlier game and just re-skinned it and butchered it for the PC, like the previously mentioned title.

It has some nice bits of humour, there are a few mad max references, as well as Die Hard and references to other film characters

The 9 toes into is quite funny :)

Completed the first playthrough yesterday :D so i now have a level 36 Hunter :D

It's a great laugh and rather fun to play although i think the game gets a bit stale halfway through (just because of the lack of variation of enemies after a while) and then it really picks up when the new enemies are introduced and fought.

Enough!

I just went out to get it... one shop is sold out and the rest don't sell PC games :(

I need to get back to Leeds!

I'm not paying more than £24.99 for it though cos I can get it for that on play.com.

How much did you guys get it for (PC version).

I paid £35 for the 360 version, only as I had £15 vouchers still
