I thought exactly the same about the heli blades when I saw them. I also loved the low flying heli shots I laughed out loud when May was in the back of that car

The fact that if Jeremy had built the car it wouldn't have finished by now... ... or now ... ... or now ... Took me a while to get though.

Thought it was a bit of a nonentity this week, much like Chris Evans.

The lack of budget is making the show seem a bit long IMO, but at least they weren't engineering the script as much as in recent episodes, seemingly... And how sweet was the blonde behind Clarkson during the news? I couldn't focus on what he was saying

Oh come on it's from outer space or something. We had a Lancia when I was about 14, the HPE. Until my sister rang the scrappy and binned it while Dad was at work.

Ah yes, her... I can't say I was paying much attention to what Clarkson was saying either... As to wanting a Stratos - are you mad? The whole thing basically was an exercise in showing that if you actually drove a Stratos, it would try to kill you. And up until the point it did so, it would make you as uncomfortable as it possibly could. Your only hope of surviving would be if it broke before it managed to get you. I wouldn't mind going to look at one in a museum, but by god I'd never put my squishy bits within a mile of the driver's seat.

Common sense and car desire are mutually exclusive.

That bit at Norwich Airport has got to be fake. The headlines were about May crashing early, if it was real they'd be about him being arrested for endangering lives.

All of their "accidents" and run-ins with the police are fake. In fact the only situation I ever saw them in that I couldn't work out was fake was when they were in the petrol station in America. Every time they get "lost" or "crash" it's a set up.
