Anyone else suspect Ms Wimmer went along with the madness at the time, but now it doesn't suit? And even City executives must be wondering at this:

Quote:
(Ms Wimmer) saw her salary rise by 1,000% over four years

Ms Wimmer, 29, had earlier told the inquiry she felt demeaned when Mr Lowe had brought an "unsavoury person" to a business event at the Hong Kong Yacht Club.
Now thats eems ok, if he brought a prostitute to a meeting and thus implicating her also as a prostitue.. but hang on..

Quote:
The woman, named only as Ling, was in fact a Malaysian banker and Mr Lowe's girlfriend.

So shes accusing her bosses girlfriend of being "on the game"

Quote:
This came after Ms Wimmer said she believed Mr Lowe was trying to get a hitman or member of his family to kill her.

So either this is a very serious case and the police need to be involved as im sure that conspiracy to commit murder is a crime or someone is clearly barking. Which casts doubt on the veracity of her claims.
So no doubt she will win and get a stupidly high payout.

Sounds more like sour grapes to me. Maybe the boss was a little insensitive, but she thought he was trying to hire a hitman or a member of his family to kill her? And he is only up for blonde jokes... I think the joke is on her... :?

Mr Wilson questioned the timing of this joke as his client had just left psychiatric care and was recovering from depression.

Whilst I might be jumping to conclusions here…

how a blonde sued the arse off of a 'stereo' type upper management dim wit
you will have to wait for the million pound punch line …

management are, and always will be, a group of self serving corporate A-holes …

Woman gets sacked - sexual discrimination
African gets sacked - racial discrimination
Old man gets sacked - age discrimination
Disabled person gets sacked - disability discrimination
White male gets sacked - lazy, thieving b*stard

[LIFTED] off and get a grip.

1000% pay rise?

Even over my entire career, the increase from my lowest pay (starting salary) to my potential maximum is going to 500%.

For a 10x increase in pay, I'd take any and all blonde jokes!

the lady must have been able to to the job to get/gain such increases
its just a pity that 'management' couldn't except that fact on face value …

Agreed.

However my point is that as soon as a high-flying woman gets sacked she claims for discrimination - it's a crock of sh!t. If young white men can get sacked without it being discriminatory then so can everyone else.

Good point, but it doesn't negate the possibility that either the young man or the young woman can be dismissed because of discrimination.
Hell, I've had jobs where the only reason I've been hired is because I'm male, and I'm sure I've lost out in interviews for the same reason.

Being a slutty blonde perhaps she was providing "extra services" or something.
