In the end I went to a place called Tesco Home Plus which is like Tesco without food, and got it for £22.97. Just installing it now.

Yeah but you can create an account in game. Just go to online play and click create account. You never actually leave the game. It's quite slick.

Was playing last night and I got a very weird pop up message telling me that I had been logged out of my account because it had been logged into by someone else.
I went back to the menu screen and logged in again but I thought it was a bit odd.
I went to gamespy and changed my password today.

I've had that before, usually happens when my laptop decides to disconnect from the internet (don't have a wireless adapter for the PC so run it through the lappy). Nothing bad's happened since like my password being changed for me... think it's just a glitch or something since it's happened with Steam before.

Ah, my PC's wifi connection is quite dodgy so maybe that's it?! Where is everyone though? I've added you as friends but you still haven't turned up in my friends list.

That could be it, the symptom sounds similar but i don't know whether or not they're exactly the same case. + My bad, i haven't accepted you yet since i've had assignments in for last monday and next monday so i haven't turned on the PC for a while . I'll be sure to do so once things let up.

I did the first 2 parts (lvl 13 and lvl 15) of the arena mission last night And I was only lvl 13 First bit was easy but the second bit was a lesson in dodging and timing. It went something like grenade, shoot, phase walk, melee, run away, shoot, jump, run away, repeat. Lots of fun though I think I need some higher lvl guns though. The highest I have atm is lvl 10 and I'm now lvl 14.

Unfortunately i find the guns don't "level up" quite as fast as you do. For around levels 25-30ish i was still using the same Sniper/Revolver combo since nothing came along that beat either of them, even now the Revolver is still going at level 37 since it's currently the best out there i've come across. You generally just find one gun you're good with and stick with it till another comes along, sounds obvious but that's the thing, they don't come along necessarily all that fast. Also some of the lower level purples or blues are still better than some of the higher level guns i've come across. And even if they don't necessarily output more raw damage they have better abilities (i.e. better critical damage, bigger clip size/fire rate, elemental damage etc.). The main thing i've found the bazillions of guns good for is selling. Case and point, i started collecting guns to sell and i'm sitting somewhere around 3-5 million in cash. Nothing in the vending machines is any better than what i've already got and it's probably goes to show that i should really start the second playthrough lol.

Is there somewhere where you can see a complete run down of all the stats or do you just get the little comparison window in the itinerary?

Yes you should I have over 9 million sitting about, nearly 9999999 if I sold everything I own Strangely on playthrough 2 SOME of the claptraps have backpack sdu's for doing the repairs, some give grenade mods, I'm up to 48 backpack items now, with only 24 or so at any one time for situations or mods Up to 5x on some of the ability elemental types too

Not sure what you mean by the "little comparison window in the itinerary", if you mean the small window that pops up when you hover over a gun then yes. Pick the gun up, go to your inventory and press E on one of the guns you wish to compare, it puts a box on the bottom left or right hand side of the inventory, then you can hover over the other gun you want to compare it to and compare the boxes which will state any extra's you get. + Awesome finlay, currently the only stuff i have is maxed out a x4 Elemental . And i was looking through the borderlands wiki and it said that on the second playthrough it's completely random whether or not you get an SDU or not from the claptraps. On another note, am quite gutted there haven't been any announcements about the PC version of the Island of Dr. Ned .

BTW Fog, saw you playing last night, did you "do" something last night? Sorry, it's a rather vague question however i was in the middle of mass selling stuff so was just consistently hitting enter, a notification of some sort came up (could have been the friend accepted thing but don't remember seeing that with my other friends) and i just hit enter without getting to read it. Sorry if it was a request of some sort, i saw you on my friend's list afterwards but there doesn't seem to be a message function .
