I honestly can't believe Sony have kept the PSN free for so long. Given the huge cock-ups Sony demonstrate, I'd have thought a PSN subscription would have been one of them.

They make enough from me in DLC to keep it going for a while yet

Although I am surprised they haven't "pulled an EA" and asked for a charge to re-download stuff again. I've gone back to old downloads a few times, costing them lots of bandwidth...

+1, and I'm astounded

Maybe it's something to do with the complaints they'd get for demos that didn't come down correctly, if my luck's anything to go by

Has anyone got the latest update with all the Facebook stuff etc yet? I'm thinking I'll see what happens with it for a few days before installing it...

It seems to be certain demos in particular after Googling the issue

Current one seems to be the digital download version of the PSP game 'Assassin's Creed : Bloodlines'. Seems the download is stuffed - it installs fine but won't run. And this isn't on a demo, this is a game that people have paid for.

I do occasionally see items in the store that have 'broken image' icons rather than the icons you'd expect. I generally steer clear of them until they've been fixed.
