Just ordered this from Play.com - I love that design, and they've got a cool Judge Death one too though I didn't order it due to other purchases...

But what was cool was the fact that Play seem to have messed up and only charged me £6.99 for it... I then applied voucher code PLAYHEAT09 for a further 10% off ;)

With that out of the way, have we any other JD fans here? I've started reading a few more of the graphic novels recently (I'd mostly dealt in crossovers previously) - the mad thing is a lot of the 'futuristic' themes are becoming all too real

Judge Dread is quite possibly the worst comic book character of all time.

It’s Dredd, punk.

He’s ageing badly too - he’s feeling pain more, he’s making mistakes and right now, he’s in the middle of the badlands setting up mutie townships. The old warhorse is still going, but for how much longer?

Hershey’s gone. She was replaced by JUdge Dan Francisco - a popularist candidate in the recent Chief Judge elections. He’s sent Hershey off world, and Dredd to the Bad Lands.

Sorry, that made me chuckle

Diane Lane's hot 8-)

This is the Judge Death t-shirt I was talking about - anyone know if it's taken from anything? It reminded me of the Batman The Killing Joke cover:

Back in 1995 at the time the Dredd film was released, I was having a drink with a friend in a pub on Shaftesbury Avenue when in strolled a group of young ladies dressed as Judges. I presume it was a promotional stunt for the film as the costumes were authentic-looking and looked like they were produced for the film.

I was very impressed, much more than I was by the film itself!
