I'm looking to record some footage of some games on my Mac, then put them into Final Cut Pro just to see what it's like. But I have a conundrum.
Is there anything like FRAPS for the Mac that can record footage from a game? I could do it on Windows, but I want to see what OSX is like in a real-world situation.
Thanks,
Adam.

I use ScreenFlow for my grabs, but I’d say right now that I’ve not tried it with games. It”s very good for grabbing the desktop and letting you play around with windows etc.. I use it for online tutorials. It actually has it’s own editor and exports to a variety of formats.
IIRC you aren't on a machine that is SNow Leopard capable are you? If you were then you could use the QuickTime screen recording (very basic apparently).
