Christ can you imagine trying to overtake one of those. Especially if you didn't realise it was a jumbo sized one

It'll be getting to the point where you'll grab the box you have to transport, open the back door, walk to the other end, open the front door... and hand it to the person you were delivering it to. Jon

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Among the best, certainly. There isn't anybody doing the same mix of just great comedy and satire these days. Bring back NTNOCN and Spitting Image! IIRC, I have one of their audiotapes somewhere - it may even be called 'Hedgehog Sandwich'. It contains possibly the greatest single sketch in British comedy history - Gerald the Gorilla.

I have the LP. The production on that album is amazing. (He bloody does eat daffodils, you know.)

They claim it will reduce numbers of vehicles on the road? They said that when the max gross was increased from 38 to 44 tonnes. The bit about them just wanting to carry light but bulky items is nonsense. If it is approved, they will be pushing for the max gross limit to be increased, and that creates it's own problems; road surface damage and increased rutting on the motorways. I wonder who will end up footing the bill?
