Was just doing a quick bit of shopping in Tesco and naturally they are in full-on Christmas mode. That's never good (particularly this far from Christmas itself) but this time they plumbed the depths with The Darkness' "Christmas Time (Don't Let the Bells End)." I'd forgotten how goddamn awful this song is. I was relieved when they followed it up with Aled Jones!

It's by no means the best song in the world ;) , but I'd sooner that than the average Xmas song - and is it just me, or does the anticipation of Xmas songs kill even the good ones? :oops:

I'm thinking Pogues/McColl, Slade, Wizard etc... Cue disagreement! :lol:
