Transgressions, eh?

I guess so, and they remain firmly none of our business.

Precisely, and I couldn't agree with his statement more:

Tiger Woods wrote:
Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn't have to mean public confessions.

Is this another case of mountains being made out of molehills?

I believe it is. I saw one US commentator just now refer to the media pack as "epileptic jackals".

Cheating Woods Quits Golf To Focus On Family (kinda)

http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/World- ... 8528?f=rss

Quote:
Jon-Christopher Bua, Sky's US political analyst, said the move would have financial implications for the sport.

"The disappearance of Tiger Woods from the PGA circuit will cut professional golf profits in half - so we shall see how this plays. Four!"

WTF

So, lets see - a golfer, and part time mannequin for various products, cheats on his wife, has a minor prang and has now taken out an injunction in this country stopping the media from reporting it?

This worries me - not the injunction so much as the overblown nature of the story. It’s just going to write itself now.

Gillette have come out with something brilliant like 'We're limiting his exposure in accordance with his wishes for privacy'

From what I can tell, he should have “limited his exposure” when it comes to women. If you get my drift. ;)

Dear TIger Woods,
I understand that your life has started to fall apart, and that you will be penniless in very short order.

Because I know it can be hard for an international playboy when they hit hard times, I feel it is my duty to offer you some advice in your future job hunting efforts. You will need to know only two phrases to be a successful job candidate in the US job market:
1: “Shall I supersize that for you?”
and
2: “Do you want fries with that?”

Given that you have memorised longer yet less meaningless phrases for the adverts for the various companies you have schilled for, these should be a snap.
