Can we accept Twister as a nomination?

I think yes, since we've changed the poll name, Twister seems to fit in.

I've removed Lego, Duplo and Machano as they're toys rather than games.

My nominations:

Poker
Pontoon/Black Jack/21
Mahjong
Draughts/Checkers
Canasta

Hmm, I think I should call Gamblers Anonymous.

Oh god please don't start that debate! It made my "Greatest Toy of All Time" thread seriously painful.

Do all card games count as one? There are over 9000 different variations, so "cards" would probably be easier than me nominating an entire book's worth.

The only other games I play these days which I think might qualify are:

Call of Cthulhu
Diplomacy
Backgammon
Go

None of which I'm very good at. Played a few board games which mostly involve Zombies, but I don't think they're worth nominating.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I think we'll have to limit that to, say, ten. If we get more than that, we'll have a pre round one heat to reduce their numbers.
