Newmarket (card game)
Warhammer
Hide and Seek (the game we all used to play in the street at 10pm on a summer's evening)
Murder in the Dark (nostalgia)

Hmmm, interesting. Hide and seek is indeed a game, but all the games so far are ones that physically exist.
What do people think about allowing made up games to be entered?

Think your opening the flood gates if you allow imaginary games like hide and seek, tag, 40/40 home etc.

I also think card games should listed as one entirety - 52 card playing cards

Also are paper/written games included -

Hangman
naughts and crosses
Boxes
etc

If we're having individual card games, how about 52 card pick up!

Maybe we should have had a favourite card game thread as mentioned earlier!

All games are made up, hide and seek is a game, the only reason it doesn't physically exist is because it doesn't need any branded little plastic bits or a board, you could say it's the perfect game! :) I would like to amend my Hide and Seek to Manhunt if they're allowed :)

Hmmm. I don't think there's much doubt it's a game - the question is more about whether or not it should be included. Is it fair to say that all games in this poll should be able to be played on a table/carpet/floor? I don't think we should be including rugby/football/darts for example...

But darts is a proper board game!

They're sports though, you don't have hide and seek at the olympics (or darts, but that's by the by)

1) For now,, card games will be listed separately. We'll have a poll before the main event to decide whether they should all be listed or whether Playing Cards (52) should be listed to cover all of them.
2) For the time being, Tag. Hide & Seek etc are not being allowed in.

Well a full plastic version of Hangman has been made, so that's in.
What do we all think about open and paper games?
