I haven't watch it for years, but for some reason, this year I've really got into it.
I know what you're saying though. Always having an X-factor winner releasing their first single so it'll be number one on Christmas day is getting very boring.

I didn't watch it either. But now my housemate has a new braindead girlfriend and every time she is at our house she watches that crap so I get few glimpses of it every weekend. Just yesterday I was watching Real Madrid playing Almeria when she came in and I had to change the channel for that stupid show :roll:

But wouldn't it be funny to have a Xmas n1 like RATM? That will be awesome :lol:
I am going to buy at least three songs myself just for fun of it...

I watch it every Saturday. I even voted last week. 35p well spent, and to be honest I'd do a lot more than that for the nutty Stacy. She's really rather special :P

Admittedly, many of the previous series have been too painful to bare. However, I think it's matured now into a pretty reasonable talent show. The most annoying thing is the brain-dead audience drowning out the actually quite interesting judges.

I don't know if they tried it but I haven't heard about it before. So far there is 268000 people in the group. I this seems to be very well promoted, I have seen reports on Kerrang and NME websites. Lets try people!! Surely you can spare couple of pounds...

I believe music should be bought because you like it, not for political (or otherwise) reasons.
Sure, making music for political reasons is fine, but if this record gets to number 1 just because people that don't like the X Factor bought it as a statement of their not liking what's happened to the end of year number one slot in recent years, then this 'achievement' is no better that that which it's rallying against.

Personally, I do my best to avoid and ignore any and all "reality" and "talent" shows. I am annoyed that news about them filters through to me anyway, since, as our US cousins would say, I could care less.

Damnit! I read the first post and thought to myself "I hate X-factor, but I hate Facebook even more" but let's read the replies before I start ranting and whadda you know... last post!

Also my kids like the X-Factor, (not that that's got anything to do with anything) but I agree with that the egg man and Heather said...
