I honestly can't say I'm surprised in that particular part of Africa, and it just seems to be another instance of using religion and it's aspects to keep people down :(

I think it just shows that however progressive a society claims to be, there lurks just beneath the thin veneer a tide of suspicion, vengeance and retribution clad in religious robes.

Heather is right - we are ending an epoch. The New Dark Ages will soon be upon us.
