Hi

I've got a Toshiba U200 here with Windows XP and Ubuntu on it. I can't get it to boot from Windows. The tech who set it up said click right arrow until you get the icons to boot from cd / usb etc on screen, select the first option (which looks like 4 cds on top of each other) and that should take me in to the boot menu to select windows or linux. It's not it's booting from linux. Any ideas peeps?

Ta muchly as always!

C

Well I'm lost.

What happens if you don't press anything? Does it give you a menu or just boot straight into 'nix?

So you can get into Linux (Ubuntu), but not into Windows? Do you get any sort of menu come up?

Nah just goes straight in to Ubuntu. I manage to get the data off it using linux so I might just wipe the thing and start again. It was a leaver's laptop so that's not a problem.
