http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/news/index.c ... 8530&&pn=1Inspired by the above article, I've been thinking about the handheld gaming systems I own. Somewhere I have a Sega Game Gear (complete with the all-too-necessary adaptor and a sh1tload of actually good games), an original Nintendo Gameboy Advance and a bunch of games*, though it doesn't get much use now since I've also got a DS Lite that'll play the old Advance games So what do you own/used to own? Do you find that all you wanna do sometimes is play an old-style game (as I often do)? * The nephew can have that in about a year's time, probably...

The only one for me is a gameboy, and only because I got it for free. Every other system has not been a handheld.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

None what-so-ever. EDIT Actually that a lie, I owned this in the 80's. It's in my parent's loft now, but it still works.

Nearest thing to an electronic hand-held game I've ever owned would be a phone. Snake FTW!
Actually, some phone games are pretty decent these days. They're enough to keep you distracted when you're sat in a waiting room or on a long journey, which is the only time I'd ever use them. I can't see myself buying a separate item to carry; unlike in DnD, carrying all that stuff in real life around gets mighty cumbersome.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention these: And this is supposedly a 'wrist game' (all jokes should be sent to Michael McIntyre) but that would have made it impossible to play - Double Dragon: There was also this, and it was crap in it's day (which was actually the early 90s ):

I used to have a game that I played all the time.
The game was similar to the Game&Watch games and you controlled a space ship. There was an asteroid field moving across the screen and you had to dodge them by moving left to right (moving right moved you up the side of the screen also).
It was built to look like ... either a control console on a space ship or the front end of a space ship (can't remember).
All I can find on Google is Astro Wars but it isn't that.
Was a very good game though.

I had a GameBoy which I only ever owned one game for - Pokemon. I loved that game!!
Since then I've only had my iPhone which has got quite a few games on. A current favourite is battle bears.
