I wonder how long it is before a horse's head ends up in the guys bed.

I don't think he'll mind, he'll just send the whole time trying to chat up the nurses.

Now, now, those Mob links are only alleged, though it would explain a lot quite frankly ;)

I suspect this guy's somebody's husband :lol:

I can see the headlines now:

Berlusconi Bed Bath Blunder.

EDIT: That’s a good tongue twister. Which is probably what he’s hoping for from some of the nurses.

He's a Dictator in all but name.

On the news this morning, the assailant was mentally ill and he hit Berlusconi repeatedly in the face with an iron statue of the dome...

Sounds like the Italian spin doctors at work.

Actually, no he isn't. He's been fairly elected. Which means a fair chunk of Italian voters are stupid enough to vote for someone with his record but that doesn't make him a Dictator. As far as I'm aware he's never been accused of rigging an election and at the end of the day he's subject to the wishes of the Italian parliament.

I feel quite bad about making fun of it now to be honest. Somebody sticking one on you John Prescott style is one thing, getting smacked in the face with a big lump of metal is entirely another.

He may not be a Dictator but he does have a fairly impressive stranglehold on the media in Italy.
It's almost like Rupert Murdoch being the Australian PM (although that's really getting into James Bond territory).

I have to agree though, eggs is one thing, even a fist isn't as bad as a metal statue. He came off relatively unscathed considering.

That level of violence is actually what it would take to get Gordon sympathy at this point, and that would still only be half the country* :D

* Maybe :lol:

A touch of the old "Police admit they are having trouble because they have 30 million suspects."
