Never had one.

I had the Casio calculator with Number Invaders, but that wasn't a handheld gaming system, that was a calculator that also played a game...

Same with mobilephones, they've played games, but I wouldn't class them as handheld gaming systems.

Number Invaders - I mananged to clock it, twice, in one game, before I got bored and turned it off.

Snake - 100% full, stopped playing it after that, don't think I've played it since 2001...

My last couple of Nokia 'phones supported Java games, but I've never played any of the games.

My iPhone/iPod Touch have a couple of games on them, but I don't really play them much.

Flog it and the games or trade it all in for some new games for another system :)

Gameboy Colour
Gameboy Advance

Now nothing, I don't see the point in them - I have a laptop with me most of the time.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the handheld they were born with.

Look, I deliberately worded the title in such a way as to avoid what you're suggesting... That being the case, what could have happened that you no longer own the implied 'handheld'?

I cant remember if I owned any older stuff like the original Gameboy. I certainly didn't habe a Lynx or Game Gear. I have though owned 2 x Nintendo DS and now I dont have any. Also had a GBA SP (the smaller one with backlit screen).

Gameboy and Gameboy Colour. My son has the Gameboy Advance and DS Lite and we (the wife and I) have a DSi.

In the past, I have had a hand-held Space Invaders type game and I have also had a few phones- my current one is a Nokia 5800 with Bounce and a couple of games I don't play and I also have a HP iPaq.

Bounce winds me up. On the 1st level when you have to climb the stairs I just jump off the edge!

I forgot in addition to the GBA SP and 2 x DS I used to have a couple of Nintendo Game & Watch given to me when I was kid from my uncle (single and multi screen). My brother had some of those Tomy/Grandstand machines too (Astro Wars) and we had the ones where you look through it like bincolulars like this.

This was my first games console - anyone remember them? No prizes for guessing the name. I also had a gameboy advance.

That bit is SOOOOO infuriating. It really helps if you go as far as you can to the right, so that the view angle changes slightly and then move all the way up to the nearest corner of the next step. If you are lucky (and fast) you can jump onto the very edge of the next step and stop in time. It has to be one of the worst implementations of any move in any game I can think of- at the moment!

I had a Nintendo Game and Watch, Donkey Kong actually, possibly a couple of other ones.

Original Game Boy. Even bought a light magnifier for it so the screen was 1.5x bigger and lit up. I always wanted an Atari Lynx.

Then nothing until I got miPhone.
