We've had a big storm in Farnham but looks like less that a cm has settled.
Should be fine for getting home tonight but don't want any more overnight as it's aour Xmas do tomorrow and I want free beer.

Now the probability of it snowing tonight is directly proportional to how much you want that free beer. I suggest you put the beer right out of your head and assume you will be snowed in with 6 foot drifts and unable to go anywhere then it might NOT snow tonight and you shall go to the ball Cinders :)

It couldn't make its mind up round here all day. One minute bright sunshine the next a howling gale with rain and/or snow. Now it's all frozen solid.

Appologies if anyone has seen this but last nights weather forecast after the 10 o'clock news on the beeb is worth a watch. Wait till right at the end.

As my brother is fond of putting it - Snow, with a chance of apocalypse.

*sticks head outside*

Nope - no snow here although my temperature sensor in the car indicates a balmy 64*C :o I suspect it may be buggered - that's a technical term

Can't wait for Monday - it's when I finish for the year...

-2,3°C at the moment, it has been dropping icing sugar all day - light snow, not really settling. Only a couple of cm so far, so nothing to really affect us.

I haven't seen a single gritter at all today, despite the local forecasts being completely accurate (to the hour) about heavy snow showers.

Unsurprisingly, I did see a lot of emergency vehicles, lights ablaze, today.

Snow on the road, things get slippery. It's not that hard to remember, is it?

Well no, except perhaps for viewers in the South of England. Well, councils at least.

How long have these weather reports been aimed at 6 year olds? Talk about patronising.

Taken with my iPhone - so much noise and compression artefacts.

We keep getting light dustings. I suspect the really good stuff will arrive during my slumbers tonight.

I will be disappointed if the car is still visible in the morning.

I'll be horrified if there's snow in the West and Midlands tomorrow. I'm staying over in Bristol for our "Christmas Do" and I really don't want to freeze to death on the M5. Even 1mm seems to be enough to cause total carnage
