Just woke up to a good 3-4 inches of the stuff! School is cancelled, and now I have a full day of snow to finish the school year off with. What a nice way to do so :D

*EDIT*: Since uploading my pics its started snowing again! :D :D :D

I hope you have fun (no snow here), but it does sound a bit lame that school has been cancelled. How remote is your location, or do lots of pupils come from remote locations?

There's only an inch of snow here, but where it's packed down on the roads it's pretty slippery. I could barely get the car up the hill out of he village because it spent more time going sideways and backwards than forwards. I gave up and came home, but had to park on the street because I seriously can't get it up the hill to my house.

This means we've had to cancel Christmas.

Summer tyres FTL. The tread is now perfectly packed with ice and they're shiny all over :?

It's sort of spluttered on and off here resulting in next to nothing. You can see it on the hills to the south though...

Don't worry. The weather guessers are claiming the next belt of snow will hit the north.

Meanwhile, I ventured out while the sun shone. I'll post piccies a bit later.

Good, I want it up here. It makes the usual life more enjoyable.

Strangely enough it causes less of a problem than down South, maybe we get a different type of snow? :D

We had snow.

I got time off work! I work as a delivery driver for Pizza Hut and we aren't insured to drive in snow! 8-)

It started really snowing at about 4 this afternoon.

HAd some heavy snow, the streets are fairly slippery with compacted ice. With the winter tyres, it isn't too bad.

Took my girlfriend to her Christmas party. The roads were okay, unsalted and not ploughed, so we didn't get about about 70, but saw a few idiots without winter tyres who slid out of corners and smacked into the kerb.
